Do I need to know music theory?
Not at all. Every drone is labeled Universal, Major or Minor. Match your keys, keep Major with Major and Minor with Minor, and Universal works with everything.
I already own Vol 1 and Vol 2. Do I need this?
No. Every drone in this pack comes from Vol 1 and Vol 2, so you already have them. This pack is for editors who only want the ambient layer.
How do I use these with licensed music?
Find the key of your song, grab the matching key folder and lay a drone underneath. Musicbed, Soundstripe and Audiio list the key on the song’s page; for anything else, an app like Auto-Key or a site like Tunebat will find it in seconds.
Does the pack include drums, hits or melodies?
No. It’s drones and textures only, the foundation layer. Melodies, hits, risers and transitions live in the full collections, and drums and rhythms in Vol 2.
What editing software does it work with?
Anything that accepts WAV files: Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, CapCut Desktop. No plugins, no DAW.
